World Renowned Beaches

A short walk or bike ride to our beautiful, white-sand beach, where you'll enjoy private access as a resident of Inverness Village in Palmetto Dunes.  With your resort guest pass you'll have free beach parking in the Disney Beach House parking lot.

The award-winning Coligny Beach Park is Hilton Head Island's most popular oceanfront park. Located at the end of Pope Avenue off Coligny Circle, the park provides access to miles of beautiful beach for all to enjoy.

Folly Field Beach Park, located off of Folly Field Road on Starfish Drive, links to this mid-Island beach location. A boardwalk winds through a natural environment to the beach, and beach matting helps persons in wheel chairs or with other handicaps navigate across the sandy surface. Metered parking is offered.

Beach visitors can make a quick stroll to the beach use the Burkes Beach Access, mid-island off of William Hilton Parkway. Parking is available in the lot nearby at Chaplin Community Park.

On the southern end of the island, beach visitors can make a quick stroll to the beach use the Alder Lane Beach Access, off of South Forest Beach Drive.

Driessen Beach Park, located on Bradley Beach Road off of William Hilton Parkway, links to this mid-Island beach. A boardwalk winds through a natural environment to the beach, and beach matting helps persons in wheel chairs or with other handicaps navigate across the sandy surface. A playground, picnic tables beneath a pavilion and other amenities are available. Metered parking is offered.

Nestled in Bay Gall, one of Hilton Head Island's historic Gullah neighborhoods, Fish Haul Beach is perhaps one of the hidden gems on the Island. This beach overlooks Port Royal Sound and is perfect for those seeking a quiet get-a-way for walking, bird watching and resting. Limited park amenities include restrooms and parking.
